View GlossaryIn June 1833, the church’s presidency in Kirtland, Ohio, sent plans to Missouri church leaders for the projected temple and city of Zion. Revisions were later made and Frederick G. Williams redrew both sketches, which were sent to Missouri sometime in September 1833.
Bishop Edward Partridge then drafted this revised proposal for the central temple complex.
