copied this text into Revelation Book 1, where it is dated July 1828 and characterized as “Given to Joseph the Seer after he had lost certan writings which he had Translated by the gift & Power of God.” The 1833 Book of Commandments includes this revelation and dates it to July 1828 at Harmony
