17841–28 Feb. 1862.2 Farmer.3 Born in Pennsylvania.4 Son of Conrad Boosinger and Catharine Barbara Yancer.5 Journeyed to Trumbull Co., Northwest Territory, ca. 1801.6 Married first Nancy Simcox, ca. 1807.7 Enlisted in War of 1812.8 Lived at Tallmadge, Portage Co., Ohio, by 1820.9 Married second Mary Ann Workinger, 21 Aug. 1822, in Wayne Co., Ohio.10 Performed baptisms for LDS church near Middlebury (later in Akron), Portage Co., 1836.11 Ordained to high priesthood at Kirtland, Geuaga Co., Ohio, 29 Mar. 1836.12 Made substantial loans to church presidency, 1836.13 Moved to Ray Co., Missouri, 1836.14 Moved during exodus of Saints to Smooth Prairie, Madison Co., Illinois, 1839.15 In Madison Co. swore affidavit against state of Missouri for damages suffered in Ray Co. from 1836 to 1839.16 Lived in Macoupin Co., Illinois, by 1840.17 Baptized Joel Ricks, who lived on Silver Creek, Madison Co., into LDS church, 6 June 1841.18 Received letter from JS about tithing, 1842.19 Lived in Macoupin Co., 1850, 1860.20 Died in Macoupin Co.21
