Moved to Geneseo, Livingston Co., New York, 1817; to Livonia, Livingston Co., by 1830; and back to Geneseo, by 1834. Baptized into LDS church, by 1834. Married Joseph Young, 18 Feb. 1834, in Geneseo. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, Sept. 1834. Moved to Hawn’s Mill settlement on Shoal Creek, Caldwell Co., Missouri, arriving 28 Oct. 1838; witnessed attack at Hawn’s Mill. Moved to Far West, Caldwell Co., Nov. 1838; to Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois, Mar. 1839; to Commerce (later Nauvoo), Hancock Co., Illinois, Mar. 1840; to Winter Quarters, unorganized U.S. territory (later in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska), 1846; and to Carterville (near present-day Council Bluffs), Pottawattamie Co., Iowa Territory, 1847. Migrated to Salt Lake City, summer 1850. In 1890s, joined Christian Science church in Salt Lake City. Moved to Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, by Apr. 1910. Died at Tacoma.
