Weaver, Russell

Biography

27 July 1788–24 Apr. 1865. Farmer, preacher, physician. Born at Shaftsbury, Bennington Co., Vermont. Son of Thomas Weaver and Lois Greene. Married Lydia Cowell, 1 June 1808, in Otsego Co., New York. Lived at Cambria, Niagara Co., New York, by 1809. Preacher for Christian or Unitarian church. Introduced to JS by Joseph Rose, 12 Jan. 1836, while visiting at Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio. Died at Cambria.
