Married first Miss Sewell, ca. 1801. Married second Sarah French, ca. 1819. Lived at Turtle Creek, Warren Co., Ohio, Aug. 1820. Moved to Indiana, Aug. 1828. Moved to Bald Bluff, Henderson Co., Illinois, 1836. Traveled to Washington DC and Baltimore and met with U.S. president John Tyler, urging him to provide JS with a U.S. Army commission, 1844. Died in Bald Bluff.
