Know all men by these presents that we Joseph Smith Jr & of the County of and State of for the considerations herein after set do covenant agree to and with of the and aforesaid his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, to make and execute a good and sufficient deed for all that lots of ground Situated, lying, and being in the <Town of > County of and State of and known as the lot where Jacob Sherman lately resided and now in the occupation of the said . Also the lot lying directly East— of said lot with all their appurtenances & improvements and containing about two hundred and sixty four rods more or less.
In consideration of which the said has given into the hands of agent for the said Joseph Smith Jr & a power of Attorney to sell and dispose of certain lands and houses Situated lying and being in the Town of Rochester, Columbiana County and State of , for the sum of twelve hundred dollars — Providing said shall not dispose of the said property of the said it is agreed upon by the said Joseph Smith J & , and the said , that the said shall pay the amount of twelve hundred dollars in manner and form as may be agreed upon by the said Joseph Smith Jr & and the said for the aforesaid lots
