, May 8, 1837. Received on the within five hundred dollars, the ballance of the May, 1837. payment and interest now due being extended to the first of December next
Moses Chase
I do hereby assign all my right title and interest in and to the within contract to Josep For value Received one Hundred & twenty five Dollars—
December 28th 1837.

Recd. of five Hundred Dollars which is to apply on the within contract It is also agreed that if the said shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid the further sum of five Hundred dollars the 1st day of June next that the ballance remaining unpaid on the within contract after said payment of $500 shall be made, shall be extended as follows to wit one fifthe the 1st day of June 1839 and the ballance in 4 annual payments thereafter with the Interest annually but if the payment of $500, in June next should not be made as < Decr 28th 1837> as above stated the within contract to be and remain unalterd.
