Know all men by these presents that I , of & State of Illinois, am Held and firmly Bound unto James Gray of aforesaid, in the penal sum of Two thousand Dollars, Good and Lawful money of the , which sum well and truly to be paid I bind my self my heirs, Executors, and administrator’s firmly by these presents, sealed with my seal, dated this Ninth day of March One thousand eight hundred and thirty seven.
