KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I of the county of and State of am held and firmly bound unto Joseph Smith Sole Trustee in trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints—— of the county of and State of his heirs and assigns, in the sum of Twelve hundred dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, I bind myself my heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents.

NOW THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That whereas, the said —— have hath this day sold unto the said Joseph Smith sole Trustee in trust &c—— a certain lot of ground, situated, lying and being in the county of and State of , and described on the plat of the [blank] as being Lot No. [blank] in Block No. [blank] [blank] and received in payment for said lot [blank] notes of hand bearing even date herewith, for the sum of [blank] dollars, and payable as follows with interest: as follows to Wit:— All of the South West quarter of Section Twenty nine Township seven North of Range Eight West, excepting sixty acres on the west side of said quarter described as follows, commencing at the South West corner of the quarter aforesaid and running thence East Eighty four Rods thence North sixty seven Rods thence West forty three Rods and twelve links thence North to the North line of said quarter, thence West to the North West corner thence South to the place of beginning and received in payment for said land five <​5​> <​three​> notes of hand bearing even date herewith for the sum of six hundred dollars and payable on or befor the The interest for each and every note to be paid annually. first day of Ocotber next

Now, if the said Joseph Smith sole Trustee in trust &c—— his successors in office assigns heirs, executors, administrators shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid, the amount of said notes with such interest as may accrue thereon, according to the tenor and effect thereof, when due, I the said bind myself my heirs, executors and administrators, to make, or cause to be made, to the said Joseph Smith sole Trustee in trust &c—— his heirs successors in office and assigns, a good and sufficient Deed for the above described lot when the above notes are paid—— and then this bond shall become null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
