In Consideration of Two hundred dollars to us to be paid as follows viz: One hundred dollars at the expiration of Ten years from the date hereof with interest at six per cent payable annually— And one hundred dollars at the expiration of Twenty years from the date hereof with interest at six per cent payable annually.— The first payment of interest on both sums to be made one year from the date hereof—— We Joseph Smith Jr , and all of Hancock Co[u]nty— State of Illinois, do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to make and execute a good and sufficient warrantee deed to his heirs executors, administrators or assigns for all that lot of land known on the map of said Town of as Lot No Four in Block No One hundred and six.
And for the fulfilment of this obligation we hereby bind ourselves our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in the penal sum of Four hundred dollars——
This bond to be in full force and virtue provided the abovementioned payments be well and duly made at the periods of time above specified Otherwise to be null and void.——
