KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS—That Ethan Kimball of the county of , and State of , has this day for and in consideration of the sum of two— Hundred dollars in hand paid by Warren Smith— of the County of and State of , bargained and sold unto the said Warren Smith— a certain lot or pieces of land lying and situated in Kimball’s [blank] addition to in said and last mentioned, as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said addition, being lot No. 81 in block No. one in said addition to the Town of , also Lot No Eighty two (82) in Block No one (1) in said addition to the town of Nauvoo,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD The above described lots or pieces of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Warren Smith his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said ETHAN KIMBALL for himself his heirs and assigns administrators and executors, do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against every person or persons claiming by, through, or under him in any manner whatsoever. or any other persons whatever
