If these brethren go with they will go over the . ’s Uncle knows about the book of Mormon; he is ready to hear the gospel. If if it is going to pinch us any way to send this company, there is no particular necessity for them to go. If and two or three brethren others would go to the tribes in the north and set the thing in motion with them, they would agitate the subject in their council and this would save the necessity of their travelling a great deal. As to the climate he dont believe we are called to go to a cold, unhealthy region but to a healthy, mild and congenial climate and there is no difficulty to hinder our settling in ; five hundred men well armed would defend themselves.
