This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty ninth day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty Two between Benjamin Jones and Anna his wife of the County of and State of of the First part, and Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust for the , of the County of , and State of of the Second part, Witnesseth, that the said Benjamin Jones, and Anna his wife party of the first part, for and in consideration of the love and good will they bear to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of which the said Joseph Smith, party of the Second part, is Sole Trustee in Trust, and also for the Sum of one dollar, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith, as Sole Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, party of the second part, his successors in office and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the County of in the State of known and described as follows, to wit. being a part of Lot number fifty two in Block number four of Kimballs addition to the Town of , commencing twenty eight and a half rods North of the South West corner of said Lot, running thence North Eleven rods, thence East Eight rods, thence South Eleven rods, thence West Eight rods to the place of beginning, containing Eighty eight rods of land be the same more or less, together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Joseph Smith, party of the second part, his successors in office and assigns forever. And the said Benjamin Jones and Anna his wife, party of the first part, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Joseph Smith, as Sole Trustee in Trust, &c. party of the Second part, his successors in office and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
