a piece of land sold to and said s South west corner is a post 8 rods and 2 links North four degrees East of the Northeast corner of the in the said town—— of said s northwest corner being in the centre of the old Chillicothe Road leading from to thence East on said ’s North line seven rods and two links to a post, thence north sixteen rods to a post thence West twelve rods and two links to the centre of the old Chillicothe road aforesaid thence Southerly following the centre of said road to the place of beginning containing one hundred and fifty five rods of Ground subject to all highways now laid out, be the same more or less. To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the apputernances thereof unto the said Joseph Smith Jun his heirs and assigns forever to their own proper use and behoof And also I the said do for myself and heirs, executors and administrators covenant with the said Joseph Smith Jr his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents I was well seized of these premises and as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as is above written, and that the same is free from all incumbrances whatsoever.
