Know all men by these presents that I of and Territory of for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve Thousand five Hundred Dollars to me paid by Joseph Smith of the city of in the county of and state of , hath granted, bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and forever unto the said Joseph Smith and his heirs and assigns all my right, title and interest and possession, which I the said have in and to a certain tract or tracts of land situated lying and being in the so called which lies between the rivers and the which was reserved in the Treaty betwixt the and the Sac and Fox Nations nations or tribes of Indians A. D. 1824 for the Half Breeds of said nations or tribes of Indians (to wit) all my right and title in any way whatsoever both in law and equity to all those certain pieces tracts or parcels of lands in the aforesaid which was deeded by to amounting in all of said pieces parcels or tracts to 20,000 acres more or less as will appear by the aforesaid deed or deeds meaning and intending hereby to release relinquish and forever Quit Claim unto the aforesaid Joseph Smith and his heirs and assigns all right title Interest possession and claim to the aforesaid lands and their appurtenances which the said has or acquired by virtue of ’s deed to me bearing date the [p.
