W. from which a Black oak 20 S. 83¾o W. 19 & a Hickory 15 inches in diameter. bears North 56½o E. 30 Links, thence S. 89.o 35 min E. along said line 24. 63. chains to a post at N. E. Corner of said Qtr section from which a Burr oak 14 inches diameter bears N ¼o E. 151. Links distant; thence S. 0o 40. Min W. 40. 54 to a post in a mound. at ¼ sec. cor between sections 5 & 8: thence N. 89½o W. along sec Line 24. 63. chains to a stone then N. 0o 40 min W. to the place of beginning containing one hundred acres more of less, lying on the East side of said Quarter section.

Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, To Have and To Hold the above described premises unto the said Joseph Smith his heirs and assigns forever.
