This Indenture made and entered into this eighth day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty two between of the county of and State of of the First part, and Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of the county of , and State of of the second part. Witnesseth, that the said William Speers party of the First part, for and in consideration of the love and good will he bears to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, of which the said Joseph Smith, party of the Second part, is sole Trustee in Trust, and also for the sum of one dollar, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, party of the Second part, his successors in office and assigns forever, all these tracts or parcels of Land, situate and being in the county of in the State of known and described as follows, to wit: Lotts Noone, two, three and four, in Block Number one, of Speers addition to the City of . together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
