To all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:
Know Ye, That I , of in the State of Ohio of the first part— for and in consideration of the sum of Nineteen hundred & ninety dollars of lawful money of the United States of America, to me in hand paid by Christopher Edmunds of , Hancock County State of Illinois— formerly of Ellisburgh, Jefferson, County, in the State of New York of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these Presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Has remised, released, and forever , and by these Presents Do remise, release, and forever unto Christopher Edmunds of the Town & County aforesaid and to his heirs and assigns forever, All that certain pieces or parcels of Land Situate, lying & being in the Township of Ellisburgh, County of Jefferson & State of New York, being the North part of Lot Number one hundred and thirty one & is bounded as follows (viz). Beginning at the South west Corner of Lot Number one hundred & thirty two at a stake marked 131, 132, Thence south Eighty one Degrees East fifty chains & seventy five links as the Trees are marked to a stake, marked 120. 121. 131. 132. Thence south Nineteen chains & ninety links, as the Trees are marked to a stake on the East line of Said Lot number one hundred & thirty one. Thence North Eighty one Degrees west fifty chains & seventy five links as the Trees are marked to a Stake Standing on the west line of said Lot. Thence North Nineteen chains & ninety links along said line to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred acres of Land. Excepting & reserving from the above described premises the Lot or piece of land, deeded Samuel & Hiram Cook, where the said Cooks House stands, reference being had to said Cooks deed for a description of the same—
To have and to hold the said released premises unto the said Christopher Edmunds his— heirs and assigns to his own proper use and behoof forever:
