This indenture made and entered into this eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord, One thousand Eight hundred and forty three, Between Joseph Smith as sole Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints of the County of and state of of the first part, and Amos Moore of the County of and aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth That the said Joseph Smith party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and twenty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant bargain sell conv[e]y and confirm unto the said Amos Moor party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the County of and <in the> state of viz; Known and described as follows to wit. The East half of lot number four in block number One hundred and forty three of the City of . Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, To have and to Hold the above described premises unto the said Amos Moore party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, And the said Joseph Smith party of the first part his heirsandassigns assigns and successors in office the aforesaid premises unto the said Amos Moore party of the second part his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
