Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Smith of the City of County of & State of for & in Consideration of the Sum of Two hundred Dollars to me paid by Arnold Stevens of Hancock Co, Ills do by these presents remise release & forever unto the said Stevens his heirs & assigns forever all my right title & Claim & demand of & in Said the following described premises being Ten Acres of land lying in the East Corner of the North West Quarter of the North East Quarter of section No (7) Seven in Township Six (6) North Range (5) Five West Also a piece Commencing at the South west Corner of Block No Two hundred & Sixty Six of the Town of as Recorded in the Clerks office in Iowa Running thence East Twenty Eight & <& half> Rods Thence North fifty seven Rods Thence Twenty Eight & a half Rods thence South to the place of Beginning Also Eleven Acres Lying adjoining the above described premises on the North in what is Called the Masonic field Containing in all about Thirty two acres More or less to have & to hold the above with all the appertanances threreof free from any Claim whatever of the said Jos Smith
