To all to all whom these presents Shall come Greeting, Know ye that I Joseph Smith of the County of and State of Trustee in trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints have bargained and sold unto Charles Thompson of the and aforesaid for the sum of one hundred dollars received to my full satisfaction the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged certain Lots of Land in the Town of , County of and State of and is known as Lot No three in Block No 5 also Lot No three in Block No Eighteen in the Town Plat of and aforesaid to have and to hold the same described Lots of Land to him the said Charles Thompson and his heirs forever with all and singular that pertaineth thereunto and Joseph Smith Trustee in trust aforesaid bind myself and <my> successors in office to forever Warrant and defend by these presents, In testimony whereof I Joseph Smith Trustee in trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints have this the twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three set to my hand and affixed my seal.
