Deed, William Robinson to John Murdock, 12 March 1844
This Indenture Made and entered into this twelth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four between of and State of of one part, and of the and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said for and in consideration of the sum of thirty dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, doth hereby grant, bargain Sell, convey, and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, The South half of a certain Lot or piece of land lying and situated in Kimball’s addition to in said and aforesaid , the piece of land being bounded as follows, viz:— commencing at the South East corner of Lot No(25)— twenty five, in Block No (6) Six, thence running North five perches, thence West two Rods, thence north five perches, thence West twelve Rods, to the centre of Warsaw Street, thence South ten perches, thence East fourteen Rods, to the place of beginning.
Do hereby grant bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, the aforesaid South half of the above described lot or piece of land, with the appertainances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, To have and to hold the above described South half of said lot or premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever.
And the Said doth confirm the aforesaid premises unto the said his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever doth and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
