The Police are waiting this morning as well as yesterday to have there certificates accepted by the Trustees according to contract, the Trustees wish to have their claims on the in a tangible shape and that will have to be by orders. I have been informed that the City Council took an action on the case last saturday and I have been waiting for a certificate from the authorising me to issue the orders. I have received a note saying that the Treasurer give orders to the City councillors to the amount of their dues, and that the Trustees be indemnified in their claims on the . I have also received a certificate of claims allowed to the councillors, but none of these authorise me to issue orders to the Trustees for the certificates they redeem.
Now before I can do this in a legal manner I want an order from the of the City Council authorising me to issue orders to the Trustees for all the certificates which they may redeem &c. The told me the Council took an action on the case but I want a legal notice of the same
