Martin of the , and aforesaid, granted bargained and sold unto the said Ann Martin a certain lot or piece of land lying and situated in s addition to in said and last mentioned being a part of lot No. 72 in block No. two of said addition described as follows, to wit, commencing at the Southeast corner of said Lot thence running North seven rods intersecting Mullholland Street, thence running West along said Street thirteen rods, thence running South seven rods intersecting the southern boundary of said lot, thence running East along said boundary thirteen rods to the place of beginning, containing ninety one rods be the same more or less to have and to hold the above described lot or peice of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to her the said Ann Martin her heirs and assigns forever. And the said for herself, her heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against the claims of herself, or any other person whatsoever by these presents. In testimony whereof she has hereunto set her name and affixed her seal this third day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three

This Indenture made, and entered into, this twenty fifth day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and Mary K. [Mary Bent Miles] his wife, of the county of and State of of the one part, and David P. Rainey of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part Witnesseth, that the said and Mary K. his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said David P. Rainey his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of , viz. it being a part of Lot number nine in Block number three of s addition to commencing at the North West corner of Newmans Lot, being four rods and two links South, and three and a half rods West of the North East corner of said lot nine in Block three, and running thence West five rods, thence South six rods, thence East five rods, thence North six rods to the place of beginning, containing thirty rods of ground be the same more or less. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said David P.
