Redfield having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her .

Know all men by these presents, that I and his wife of the City of , County of , and State of , in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars, to me in hand paid by Louisa Stout of the same place, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said Louisa Stout, her heirs and assigns, a certain piece or parcel of land, with all the privileges and appurtainences thereof, situate, lying and being in the City of , County of and State of , known and decribed as follows, to wit:— commencing twenty eight & a half Rods East of the North West corner of Lot No. thirty two (32) Block No six (6) in s addition to and running South four and a half rods and 5 links, along the centre of Green Street thence West thirteen and a half rods, thence North four and a half rods and five links, thence East thirteen and a half rods to the place of beginning, it being a part of Lots Nos. thirty two (32) and thirty three (33) in Block No six (6) in s addition to . To have and to hold the afore granted premises to the said Louisa Stout, her heirs and assigns, to her and their only proper use, benifit and behoof forever. And I the said and his wife for ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, do covenant with the said Louisa Stout her heirs and assigns, that we are lawfully seized in fee of the afore granted premises; that they are free from all encumbrances; that we have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Louisa Stout as aforesaid; and we will, and our heirs, executors and administrators shall Warrant and defend the same to the said Louisa Stout her heirs and assigns forever, against the lawfull claims & demands of all persons. In witness whereof, I the said and his wife have hereunto set our hands and seals this fifth, day of August A. D. 1843 L. S. L. S. signed sealed and delivered in presence of us.
