This Indenture made and entered into this fourteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four between and his wife, of the county of and state of , of the one part, and Ezra Bickford of State of of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said and his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said Ezra Bickford his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate & being in the county of in the state of , viz: being a part of lot number two (2) in Block No nine (9) in addition to , and bounded as follows, beginning on Wells St. fifty two feet from the North west corner of said lot, thence southward thirty feet, and extending Eastward sixty feet, making a Lot thirty feet by sixty feet, & including a dwelling house fifteen feet by eighteen, two stories high.
Together with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Ezra Bickford his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Ezra Bickford his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant & forever defend by these presents.
