situate and being in the county of in the State of viz. commencing Thirteen rods South of the North East corner of Lot Ten in Block Three of s addition to , running thence West Ten rods thence South fourteen Rods, thence East ten rods, thence North fourteen rods to the place of beginning. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Mary K. his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever by these presents defend. In testimony whereof, the said and Mary K. his wife of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written. L. S. Mary K. Miles L. S. This Indenture, made this the Twenty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three Between William Stanley & Julia [Stanley] his wife of the County of and State of of the first part, and John St. Rumel of the County of and State of , Witnesseth, that the said William Stanley and Julia for and in consideration of the sum of forty dollars, lawful money of the , to them in hand, well and truly paid by the said John St Rumel the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release, convey and confirm unto the said John St. Rumel and his heirs and assigns forever. All that tract & parcel of land lying in the City of & County of aforesaid known as the north part of the South East acre & a half of Lot numbered (39) thirty nine in Block (6) numbered six of s addition to — Fronting on South Street containing half an acre be the same more or less.
