This indenture made and entered into this first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and his wife of the county of and state of of the first part, and Robert Pixon of the and state of of the second part witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of forty five dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents do give grant bargain and sell convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, a certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of and state of and described as follows to wit:— one half acre situate in the south of Lot No thirty five in Block No six of s addition to the city of to commence at a south west corner on the line betwixt and corner and measure north to the middle of the street from thence east as many rods as will include an half acre by going down south to the division between and Doyle’s land and from thence along the south line to the south west corner again to have and to hold the aforesaid premises together with all and singular the improvements rights, privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever free from the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. And the said having by me been made acquainted with the contents of the said deed acknowledged that she had executd the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed voluntarily freely and without any compulsion of her said .
