I. a Justice of the Peace in and for the said do certify that and Sarah his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same did severally acknowledge that they had Executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioined. And the said Sarah Warrington having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed and examined seperate and apart from her said acknowledged that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed voluntarily freely, and without compulsion of her said In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty Seventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four

This Indenture made this the 22nd day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four between and Jane [Twist] his wife of the county of and state of of the first part and of the Second part of the county of and State of — Witnesseth that the Said and Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty Seven dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained, sold and by these presents do grant. bargain, sell, release, convey and confirm unto the said and his heirs and assigns forever A part of Lot 12, Block three in ’s addition to — commencing fourteen Rods from the North West corner of said lot running South thirty feet, thence East to the West line of Well’s Street; thence North thirty feet; Thence West 3½ Rods to the place of beginning and all the estate, right title, interest, claim and demand both at Law and at Equity of the same. the said and Jane his wife of in and to the said premises and every part thereof. Together with all and singular the priviliges and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise pertaining thereto— To have and to hold the said premises thereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances to the only proper use and behoof of the said and his heirs and assigns forever And the said and Jane his wife for themselves and their heirs Executors and administrators doth promise, covenant, agree, to and with the said and his heirs, Executors administrators and assigns that before the ensealing and delivery thereof they were the true and lawful owners thereof— and further that and Jane his wife and their heirs, Executors, administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises and the appurtenances and every part and parcels thereof unto the said and his heirs and assigns forever— against all persons Claiming of or to Claim, by, from or under them or any of them or by from or under amy other person or persons whomsoever— In witness whereof the said together with Jane his wife of State of do hereby relinquish all right of dower in the said premises hath hereunto set their hands and seals on the day and year first above written—
