An ordinance concerning the off duties of the Clerk of the Mayor’s Court.
Sec 1. Be it ordained by the City Council of the city of , that the Clerk of the Mayor’s court, shall issue process, when required; shall adjou[r]n causes from time to time in the absence of the Mayor; shall affix the seal of the corporation of said , to such papers and certificates as the law may require; shall take bonds and from persons bound to keep the peace; shall perform such other duties as a Mayor’s Clerk may of right do, and be governed in his fees for services, according to the ordinance concerning fees.
Sec 2 All other resolutions, or parts of ordinances relating to the clerk of the Mayor’s court, are hereby repealed.
