Biography
ca. 1801–12 Aug. 1873. Crockery merchant, farmer, justice of the peace. Born in Columbia Co., New York. Married Jane Matilda Patterson, 26 Nov. 1825, in Hudson, Columbia Co. Moved to Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, ca. 1828. Operated wholesale crockery business with George A. H. Patterson under name of Gardner & Patterson, in Buffalo. Moved to Hamburg, Erie Co., by 1850. Returned to Buffalo, by 1870. Served as justice of the peace, 1860–1864, in Buffalo. Died in Buffalo.
