May 1816–12 Nov. 1900. Farmer. Likely born in Belchertown, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts. Daughter of Orin Rockwell and Sarah Witt. Moved to Farmington, Ontario Co., New York, by Aug. 1820. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by David Whitmer, ca. 9 June 1830, in Seneca Lake, Seneca Co., New York. Moved to Ohio, 1831. Moved to Jackson Co., Missouri, 1831. Married Samuel Marshall Ousley, 11 Jan. 1837. Moved to what later became Andrew Co., Missouri, 1839. Moved to Nodaway, Buchanan Co., Missouri, by 1840. Migrated to California, winter 1852–1853; settled in Deer Creek, El Dorado Co., California, July 1853. Moved to Gilroy, Santa Clara Co., California, 1854. Husband died, 1855. Buried in Gilroy.
