1 Mar. 1787–8 Oct. 1843. Manufacturer, joiner. Born in Poultney, Rutland Co., Vermont. Son of Mary. Moved to Sudbury, Rutland Co., by 16 Sept. 1798. Married Sarah (Sally) Hitchcock, 16 Feb. 1809, in Sharon, Schoharie Co., New York. Moved to Sharon, by Aug. 1810. Returned to Poultney, by Aug. 1820. Moved to Chardon, Geauga Co., Ohio, by Mar. 1823. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ordained a priest, 25 Oct. 1831. Moved to Jackson, Jackson Co., Michigan, by June 1840. Buried in Jackson.
