10 Aug. 1790–after 1859. Minister. Born in Deering, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire. Son of David Sherer and Hannah. Served mission for Presbyterian church in Colesville and Sanford, Broome Co., New York, 1830, and in Pembroke, Genessee Co., New York, Feb 1831–Apr. 1833.
