Biography
6 Mar. 1790–16 July 1850. Farmer. Born at Scituate, Providence Co., Rhode Island. Son of Benajah Bosworth. Moved to Burlington, Otsego Co., New York, by 1800. Married Lucina Hopkins, 17 May 1815. Moved to Copley, Medina Co., Ohio, by 1818. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by 1834. Ordained a high priest, by Sept. 1834. Moved to Hancock Co., Illinois, by 1840. Appointed to serve mission to Louisiana and to preside over area, Apr. 1844. Returned to Copley, by 1850. Died at Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois.
