23 Feb. 1796–30 Apr. 1831. Born in Middlefield, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts. Daughter of Orris Clapp and Phebe Blish. Moved to Mentor, Geauga Co., Ohio, by 1820. Married John Murdock, 14 Dec. 1823. Moved to Orange, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, by 1830. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nov. 1830, in Warrensville, Cuyahoga Co. Died at Warrensville after giving birth to twins, who were adopted nine days later by JS and Emma Smith.
