Biography
12 Sept. 1834–13 Aug. 1843. Born in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence Co., New York. Daughter of John Walker and Lydia Holmes. Family moved to Missouri, 1838, where they experienced mob violence. Moved to Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois, 1838. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, spring 1841. Resided in Nauvoo First Ward, 1842. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by JS, Aug. 1843, in Mississippi River. Died at JS’s house in Nauvoo.
