7 Mar. 1811–28 Apr. 1844. Born in Jericho (later Bainbridge), Chenango Co., New York. Daughter of Joseph Knight and Polly Peck. Moved to Windsor (later in Colesville), Broome Co., New York, 1811. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Oliver Cowdery, 28 June 1830, in Colesville. Moved with Colesville branch to Thompson, Geauga Co., Ohio, May 1831, and to Kaw Township, Jackson Co., Missouri, July 1831. Moved to Clay Co., Missouri, ca. 1833. Married William Stringham, ca. 1835, in Missouri. Likely moved to Far West, Caldwell Co., Missouri, ca. 1838. Moved to Commerce (later Nauvoo), Hancock Co., Illinois, 1839. Member of Female Relief Society in Nauvoo. Died in Nauvoo.
