Biography
17 Mar. 1804–22 Mar. 1886. Farmer. Born in Fairfield, Herkimer Co., New York. Son of Samuel Whitney and Susanna Kimball. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, by Oct. 1828. Married first Eve Doane, 26 July 1829, in Geauga Co. Elected overseer of poor, 4 Apr. 1831, in Kirtland. Witness in case of Ohio v. Hurlbut, Mar. 1834. Married second Zama Jane Eddy, 8 Aug. 1861, in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. Died at Kirtland.
