Biography
Ca. 1816–15 Dec. 1871. Farmer. Born in Vermont. Married Mary Houghton, 10 June 1842, in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. JS issued warrant against him for “running a boat on the Ferry” on Mississippi River between Montrose, Lee Co., Iowa Territory, and Nauvoo, 19 May 1843. Moved to Harrison Co., Iowa, ca. 1850. Moved to what became Monticello, Wright Co., Minnesota, ca. 1854. Died in Crow Wing Co., Minnesota. Buried in Fuller-Houghton Cemetery, Big Lake, Sherburne Co., Minnesota.
