Biography
1804–15 Sept. 1834. Born in Oxford (later in Guilford), Chenango Co., New York. Daughter of Amariah Coburn and Rose Linda Lyon. Resided in Oxford, Chenango Co., by 1810. Moved to Greene, Chenango Co., by 1820. Moved to Colesville, Broome Co., New York, by 1825. Married Newel Knight, 7 June 1825. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 28 June 1830, in Colesville. Moved with Colesville branch to Thompson, Geauga Co., Ohio, May 1831, and to Kaw Township, Jackson Co., Missouri, July 1831. Moved to Turnham’s Landing (later in Avondale), Clay Co., Missouri, fall 1833. Died at Turnham’s Landing.
