Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, by Mar. 1844. Attended Illinois state convention that supported JS as candidate for U.S. president, 17 May 1844, in Nauvoo. Married second Rebecca A. Conner, 10 Nov. 1844, in Hamilton Co.
