McIntire, William Patterson
Biography
29 May 1813–5 Jan. 1882. Tailor. Born in Wheatfield, Indiana Co., Pennsylvania. Son of George McIntire and Sarah Davis. Married Anna Patterson, ca. 1833, in Pennsylvania. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Erastus Snow, 23 Nov. 1836. Ordained an elder, spring 1838. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, Oct. 1840. Appointed to serve mission to Pennsylvania, 15 Apr. 1844. Ordained a seventy, by 25 May 1844. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley; arrived Sept. 1849. Died at St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory.
