Biography
26 June 1812–29 Mar. 1877. Farmer. Born at Groton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire. Son of John Tippets and Abigail Pierce (Pearce). Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by 1834. Lived at Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, 1834–1835. Participated in Camp of Israel expedition to Missouri, 1834. Married first Caroline Tippets, 30 July 1835, in Geauga Co. Moved to Missouri, 23 Sept. 1835. Married second Jeanette Stebbins (Styles). Married third Sophia Burnham Mead, 1 Jan. 1842. Migrated to Utah Territory, 1850. Moved to Three Mile Creek (later in Perry), Box Elder Co., Utah Territory, spring 1853. Died at Three Mile Creek.
