Schoolhouse, Far West, Missouri
Summary
There were at least two schoolhouses in Far West. First was likely log building; located in southwest quarter of town. Second schoolhouse built, by Feb. 1838. Both functioned as church or public meetinghouses, and first served as county’s courthouse until second was built.
