The People of the State of To Greeting:
Whereas at a Court of Probate holden in & for said at on the fifth day of September A.D. 1844 and Nelson Lawrence minors above the age of fourteen years Came into Court & Chose you the said for their Guardian, And Whereas it has been represented to us that Julia Ann Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence minor heirs of late of the County of & State of deceased are without Legal Guardian, We do hereby Appoint you the said Guardian of the said , Nelson Lawrence Julia Ann Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence persons & property until they shall become of Lawful age—
