Know all men by these presents that I of County of Hancock & State of Illinois for & in consideration of the sum of seventy two 86/100 Dolls to me in hand paid by & as Trustees in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby assign & set over to the aforesaid Trustees a certain judgment obtained by Hugh J. Sween[e]y at the May Term of Court for for the year 1842— For the sum of fiftynine Dollars debt with the interest thereon to the 4th day of April 1846— said judgment having been assigned to them me by Guy C. Sampson Attorney for the aforesaid Hugh J. Sweeney said judgment being rendered against Joseph Smith & others—
