For and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by and of the County of and state of . I Joseph Smith of the & aforesaid bind myself my heirs and assigns to make to the <​said​> and a good and sufficient deed, eighteen years from the date hereof, for all that Lot of ground situate lying and being in the County of and State of and described [on] the [plat] of the Town of as being [Lot] No ◊◊ in Block No Eighty.

And for the performance of the above obligation I bind myself my heirs and assigns in the penal sum of One thousand dollars
