Personally appeared before the undersigned an acting Justice of the Peace in and for said A[ndrew] J. Higbee, who being by me duly sworn according to law deposeth and Saith that the crime of perjury has been committed in said and in this that one A. D. Rhodes and did on or about the 10th day of April A.D. 1844 corruptly, wilfully, knowingly and falsely, each of them did take their corporeal oath in the case of the People of the State of v A. J. Higbee after being first duly sworn according to law by a Justice of the Peace in and for said and who had jurisdiction to administer said oath to matters in said trial which were material to the issue of the same contrary to the form of the Statute in such cases made and provided, and against the peace and dignity of the people of said State of and further deponent saith not —
